It’s Too Troublesome to Diet

Dieting is an investment in your long-term health. If you want to change your body through dieting, it has to be worth the trouble to you. We only get one body in this life and for the most part, we get to choose how healthy our body is. If your body gets old before its time, you only have yourself to blame for not taking the time to take better care of yourself.

Look at the diet as an investment in self-discovery. For example, I’ve spent about $1000 dollars on personal trainers to find the ideal diet and exercise program for myself. Though this investment did not produce the results I desired, I did come closer to finding my ideal diet.

Natural figure competitor Cheryl Masiello also took a pro-active role in gaining her nutritional education. She read everything possible on the subject, asked questions at the gym, went to seminars, talked with personal trainers, and worked with a person who was knowledgeable about bodybuilding. But the key is, Cheryl didn’t just listen to what the people said; she went home and tried it for herself.

I’ve met several trainers who are perplexed by clients who pay to hear their professional advice on weight loss but never use it. When you seek nutritional and exercise information, use it and cultivate it for your own dietary needs and goals.
