Healthy Food Is Boring

It may seem tedious to eat the same types of food everyday but you are probably already doing it now. Just list the food you eat on a regular basis. If you are like most people, you scarcely have 20 items on this list.

A macronutrient diet does not have to be boring. I consider the meals in my macronutrient diet my core meals that I can embellish with culinary wizardry. I just add homemade sauces or substitute pasta with bread in my diet.

And, I don’t confine myself to the base. If I want to have a mocha and bagel for breakfast, that’s what I will have. Then I’ll eat the rest of my meals as planned. If I prefer to eat a sandwich at a diner for lunch, I do that.

The point is that I am comfortable with my personally designed macronutrient diet and my caloric needs and know what I need to do to maintain my ideal weight. Likewise, I know the consequences of my eating decisions over the long term. So, I have my indulgences while adhering to my macronutrient diet core.
