Microdermabrasion Recipe for Skin Discolorations On Sensitive Skin

Preparation

    1. Turn to a clean page in your lab notebook and write today’s date in the
    upper right hand corner.

    2. Write down, or copy and paste, the above microdermabrasion formula
    chart into your lab notebook.

    3. Gather your skin care utensils including the scale and a 4-ounce jar for
    storing your finished product.

Blending

4. Add the thick cream base to a large bowl.

5. Slowly pour in the crushed pumice stone and rice bran to the bowl while
stirring the grains into the cream with a spatula.

6. Slowly add the lactic and ascorbic acids to the cream while continuing to
stir the mixture.

7. In a small measuring cup, mix both the polysorbate 20 and essential oils
together.

8. Now add the mixture of essential oils and polysorbate 20 to the cream
mixture.

9. Manually blend the mixture with a spatula for 2-3 minutes, or blend the
mixture with an electronic blender on low speed for 45-60 seconds.

Storage

10. Scope your customized microdermabrasion into the white jar and close
the lid tightly. Store the microdermabrasion product in a cool area, away
from direct sunlight.
