Microdermabrasion

Micro-derm-abrasion = small-skin-scrape

Microdermabrasion is the practice of removing and
correcting damaged layers of the skin using small abrasive
particles that create tiny wounds in the skin. As these micro
wounds heal, new, healthier skin replaces the
compromised skin.

Microdermabrasion treatments may be administered using
electronically powered devises that apply negative pressure
to the skin, or via creams applied manually to the skin.

Mega Skin care Tip:

Researchers have discovered that the
negative pressure applied to the skin makes
microdermabrasion an effective skin
corrective treatment. So, while rubbing your
microdermabrasion product onto your skin,
apply about five pounds of downward
(negative) pressure using your fingertipswhile
smoothing on the product in circular
motions.

In the following chapter, you will discover how to create and
use manually applied microdermabrasion products that
repair the most common skin care complaints like large
pores, acne scarring, deep wrinkles, discoloration and a
roughened skin texture.

We will start by familiarizing ourselves with the three key
ingredients of a professional grade microdermabrasion
product…
